FMS will hold our 2nd quarter student-led conferences on Thursday, November 9th from 5-7 p.m. Students and their parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to attend this event anytime between these hours. Families will also have the opportunity to get NWEA results from our fall assessment.
The evening will be full of LOTS of activities that FMS Families can take advantage of including:
- Open labs will be available so that families can get assistance completing and submitting 21st Century Scholars applications. Families should make sure to bring their 7th or 8th graders social security number as well as tax information that indicates income for each person working in the household.
- Gear Up Diner Night - Pizza will be available in the Cafeteria from 5-6 p.m.
- Title 1 Family Night to learn about the Read 180 program that is new to Title 1 this year.
To encourage the highest level of participation possible, FMS will also hold a competition for the best conference night attendance. The Hotdog Pride class that has the highest percentage of students and parents attending will win a pizza party!
